Whitney Sparks

About

Whitney Sparks is an administrative analyst with a uniquely diverse background that blends many skills and specialties. Whitney has an inquisitive mindset, a keen attention to detail, and an interest in database management and interpreting data in original ways.  

As a member of the Advancement Services team, Whitney is committed to ensuring University Advancement tracks and maintains clean and accurate fundraising and alumni data, and assessing the effectiveness of fundraising efforts and various campaigns, funds, and appeals via interactive data dashboards, informational queries and in-depth analytical reports.

Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Management, and a Certification of Special Study in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) & Remote Sensing from Humboldt State University. She is a trained Microsoft Desktop Support Technician, and Microsoft Certified Office Specialist and MS Word expert.  Whitney also holds a Human Resource Management Certificate from Sonoma State University, a Cisco Networking Academy IT Essentials Certificate, and a Professional Certification in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT. 

Interests: Getting out in nature, alone time, and time with her husband, dog and friends.
