Meet Carlos
Carlos Quevedo Casagrandi came to Sonoma State from Peru with a goal of earning his degree. Now a senior double-majoring in Economics and Business Administration, graduation is closer than ever. As an international student, Carlos has navigated college in a new country, studied in a language that isn’t his first, and spent years away from his family and support system back home.
Scholarship support has helped ease some of the financial pressure on his family and given Carlos more flexibility to focus on his education, work, and preparing for life after graduation.
