Support SSU Students at Human Rights in Washington, D.C.

This summer, SSU students will travel to Washington, D.C. to explore human rights through a powerful blend of history, policy, and civic engagement. Open to all majors, this course invites students to visit museums, memorials, nonprofits, and government agencies—examining how justice, democracy, and equality are shaped in the U.S.

A highlight of the experience is the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, where students reflect on the consequences of prejudice and state violence. Through service learning and guided reflection, this program helps students understand human rights in both historical and modern-day contexts.
