Tiffany O'Neil

About

Tiffany O’Neil serves as the Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations and University Engagement at Sonoma State University where she oversees a team of professionals who orchestrate strategic engagement opportunities for the Sonoma State community, including alumni and donors. With nearly 20 years of extensive experience in strategic planning, fundraising, and program implementation, Tiffany brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to her role. Before her tenure in higher education, Tiffany gained valuable expertise in the nonprofit sector, where she led various initiatives, including stewardship, fundraising, marketing, and special events programming.

Driven by a commitment to service and fostering a sense of community, Tiffany finds immense fulfillment in connecting individuals with opportunities and witnessing the transformative impact of their philanthropic contributions. Tiffany believes in giving back to her community and has served on several local boards, including the Rohnert Park Chamber of Commerce, Sonoma County Grape Growers Foundation and Rancho Cotate Athletic Boosters. In 2014, she was named to the North Bay Business Journal’s  “Forty Under 40” and is a proud alumna of Leadership Santa Rosa. She lives in Sonoma County with her husband Eric and is the proud mother of Jackson and Faith. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Sonoma State University and holds accreditation as a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG).

Interests: Hiking and exploring Sonoma County and the Bay Area region, enjoying local wines, and spending time with friends and family.
