Laurie Ogg

About

Laurie has spent 15 of her 25 years at Sonoma State, her alma mater, in University Advancement. Having served in almost every role in Advancement, Laurie brings a unique perspective to the data side of things. After all, the donor is in the details.

Her current role as Director of Advancement Services affords her the perfect mix of working with systems and people. “It has been a joy to work at the University that gave me so much. To play a role in the evolution of this institution over the last 25 years has been a fabulous journey.”

Laurie believes in showing up, being present and having fun. She can be counted on if extra help is needed and will always bring levity with her. She is dedicated to supporting her colleagues and the division to advance the University.

Interests: Laurie enjoys extra spicy foods, learning Spanish, spending time with her husband of 28 years, her three dogs and volunteering in her community.

What I love about Sonoma State University: The tight-knit, welcoming and friendly community. It’s nice to walk across campus and see at least one person you know.
